1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PayStubHQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

PayStubHQ generates pay stubs based on information you provide. Tax calculations follow the official IRS Publication 15-T Percentage Method withholding tables (2026) and state-specific income tax rates for all 50 US states. The Service includes federal income tax, state income tax, Social Security (FICA), and Medicare withholding calculations.

PayStubHQ does not verify employment, income, or any other information you enter. The documents generated are based solely on your input.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. You must not use the Service to generate documents containing intentionally false or misleading information. Misuse of generated documents may constitute fraud under applicable law.

4. Email Collection and OTP Verification

For free pay stub generation, we collect your email address and send a one-time verification code (OTP). This email is used to deliver your pay stub and prevent abuse. We do not sell or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Temporary Data Storage

Form data you enter during the pay stub creation process is temporarily stored in your browser (localStorage) to allow you to resume if you leave and return. This data is not transmitted to our servers until you submit your order.

6. Payments

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. PayStubHQ does not store credit card numbers or full payment details. Pricing: $9.99 per stub, $19.99 for a bundle of 3, $34.99 for a bundle of 6. Your first pay stub is free with email verification.

All sales are final except under our 30-day money-back guarantee if tax calculations are proven inaccurate relative to IRS Publication 15-T tables.

7. Email Delivery

Completed pay stubs are delivered to your email address via Resend (transactional email service). Emails include secure download links for your PDF pay stubs.

8. PDF Storage

Generated PDF pay stubs are stored on Cloudflare R2 (cloud object storage). Download links are provided in your confirmation email. PDFs are retained for 90 days after generation, after which they are automatically deleted.

9. Disclaimer

PayStubHQ generates pay stubs based on information you provide. PayStubHQ does not verify employment or income. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PayStubHQ be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific pay stubs at issue.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
